So the plan was to post at least once a week, on the day Simon graduated to being another week older. That fell to the wayside, when, from 5-6 weeks old, Mr. Simon decided to nurse non-stop. As a result I had few pictures taken during his 5th week of life, and nothing to post on his 6 week birthday.
I can say that all that eating was for a good cause though. In the two weeks since his one-month check-up, on his 6-week birthday, Simon had gained another 1 pound 4 ounces, bringing his weight to a whopping 9 lbs 9 ounces.

For some reason the only pictures we thought of taking on Mother's day
were of the cats doing things they are not allowed to do! |

| Timmy, using the bag my Mother's day gift came in as a hiding spot. |
 |
| Kelly uses he play-mat more than Simon! |
 |
| Hanging out in he sun |

Mom found a consignment store just down the street, so Simon gets to wear
some super-cute styling clothes at less than Walmart prices! |

| The Tar-Heels hat can only be left at home if the Panther's socks are on... |

Our first walk in the neighbourhood in the stroller. Simon LOVES his stroller.
Despite being awake for 2 hours at this point, he refused to fall asleep,
and enjoyed taking in the sights of the neighbourhood. |

| A very happy boy |

| The stroller has become a favourite place to sleep, especially at Nana's house. |
 |
| A rare thing these days, sleeping peacefully |

Making friends with Abe
He has definitely started to smile at me. He has started to coo on a regular basis, and has even rolled from his tummy to his back on 3 occasions. I'm still trying to get him to do it on camera, but no luck.

Another precocious roller! We've only seen it twice, but did get a video the second time. Lately she seems to be working on getting the knees under the bum and moving!
